Unemployment in the eurozone breached the 10 per cent mark for the first time since the introduction of the single currency over a decade ago.

Despite extraordinary measures to protect the labour market during the downturn, 4m have lost jobs across the 16 countries that use the euro, according to the European Commissions statistical arm.

As of November, there were 15.7m jobless in the bloc.

The rise brings eurozone unemployment in line with that in the US, also at 10 per cent.

EU zone count everybody that is indeed unemployed, in the US the unemployment data is a lie and a fraud to keep the "official" unemployment rate down. Estimated correct rate in the US is 18 -22%.

Can someone please explain something for me, what does he mean by..

"If the American people and including the Government paid off their debt, then there wouldn't be a dollar in circulation."

I don't fully understand what he means by that, because if there was no money in circulation, then how would we be able to buy goods such as necessities?

It wouldn't be possible without money.
