Nissan Installs 30 Solar EV Chargers in Tennessee Celebrating their 30-Year, $ 3.5 Billion Commitment Announces Ingram Park Nissan

San Antonio, TX (PRWEB) May 31, 2011

Nissan North America, Inc. began installing solar-assisted charging stations at the Smyrna Vehicle Assembly Plant and the Nissan Americas headquarters in Franklin, Tenn. In total, Nissan is installing 30 stations which marks the latest in Nissan's statewide initiative in Tennessee. Nissan has had a 30-year presence in Tennessee and will dedicate investments totaling $ 3.5 billion. Ingram Park Nissan in San Antonio, Texas is excited about this energy saving opportunity and about the oncoming influx of solar powered Nissan vehicles.

Nissan plans for the charging stations to be operational and ready for use by July 1. These stations are designed to charge the Nissan LEAF, the world's first affordable, all-electric vehicle. The Nissan LEAF was released on December 2010, and Tennessee was one of the integral launch locations.

Plans are made to manufacture the Nissan LEAF and the batteries that power it at its Smyrna manufacturing complex; currently the advanced, lithium-ion battery plant is 75-percent complete and Nissan expects to become operational late next year. Once the plant is completed, Nissan will begin installing the battery manufacturing equipment and should be able to produce the lithium-ion batteries by late 2012. The plant should be able to produce Nissan estimates the Smyrna Vehicle Assembly Plant will have the capacity to produce 150,000 Nissan LEAF's annually. Once the lithium-ion battery plant is complete, the Smyrna manufacturing complex will become a national manufacturing center of excellence for clean transportation solutions, producing 200,000 advanced lithium-ion batteries annually.

“Tennessee is Nissan’s home in the Americas region,” said Carlos Tavares, chairman, Nissan Americas. “These solar-assisted charging stations demonstrate our dedication to a zero-emissions society, and our dedication to bringing innovation to our home in Tennessee. Nissan in the coming year will expand our manufacturing presence, enhance our philanthropic efforts and make new additions to our headquarters operations, all in Tennessee.”

With the installation of these new charging stations, Nissan is illustrating the reduced impact on the electrical grid through the use of solar power and energy storage. These stations use the same lithium-ion battery that powers the Nissan LEAF, the same car they will be charging. These charging stations will allow Nissan to analyze the battery's storage capacity as well demonstrates the other applications for their battery technology other than automotive applications.

The U.S. Dept. of Energy is working with Nissan and is funding the stations with a matching grant. Nissan is also working with the Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the Tennessee Valley Authority; Nissan will provide them with share usage and technical data from the solar chargers for further research.

The prime reason for that ignorance is religion and the activities of religious leaders. One of the primary features of these religions is to claim that symbolic assertions in the canons are actually miracles and supernatural evidence.

These religions have gone to great lengths asserting that "God," or gods, angels, demons and other supernatural entities are the source of human suffering, struggle, and calamity. All of these religious canons also focus on the importance of doing good and avoiding evil. Though this is the basic message at the core of the wisdom sent forth by the sages and prophets, the texts in religious canons are not original nor have they been reliably translated or interpreted. The ancients knew that religious leaders would confound wisdom, because of their ignorance and arrogance. For this reason, the symbolism of the original texts purposely encoded proof of the truth for those of their far future, by hiding it from deceptive and untrustworthy religious leaders and other spiritual charlatans. The final keys to unlocking long-hidden ancient wisdom and proof of certain historical realities would not be available until now, when the supporting science was available.

Some of the more important aspects of the wisdom sent forth by the prophets and sages clearly demonstrates that the ignorance imposed by religion directly causes collective bad luck, leading to large scale disasters. Unlike the assertions of religious leaders, ancient wisdom makes it abundantly clear that misdeeds cause bad luck, which then leads to future negative outcomes.
